Introductory Lessons

Intro Lesson 1


The purpose of this lesson is to introduce primary grade students to the MajorClarity platform.
In this lesson, students will:● Understand the purpose of the MajorClarity platform● Learn how to sign-in using district-assigned login credentials● Take a Career Assessment● Review, record, and discuss assessment results● Make predictions about common occupations & tasks associated with different regions (career clusters)

In this lesson, students will:● Successfully sign-in using district-assigned login method.● Identify the purpose of each section of the platform.● Navigate to the Portfolio section to review Career Assessment results.● Research occupations in the career path region with the highest compatibility rating.

Intro Lesson 3


The purpose of this lesson is to familiarize primary grade students with the career exploration process and Passport feature of the platform.
In this lesson, students will:● Successfully sign-in using district-assigned login method.● Understand the process for career exploration in MajorClarity.● Navigate to the Passport tab and inventory task completion progress.● Earn a new Passport “stamp” by learning about residents from one unexplored region, and meet the remaining residents from any previously explored region to earn a 100% task completion rating.
